With the creation of the Casal d'Europa, the Berguedà, a region in the center of Catalonia, has taken, in our opinion, an interesting and positive step in these decisive moments of the European integration process. The objectives of this foundation, which integrates political figures of the most diverse signs, public institutions and private companies and organizations, coincide fundamentally with those that encourage the large network of European clubs, the FIME, and which are part of the clear and determined willingness to inform and train people in relation to the perspectives and demands of this new European citizenship. The Casal d'Europa del Berguedà has the vocation of becoming, as far as possible, a modern and effective tool in the service of the European movement. Its headquarters are in what was the Swedish Pavilion at the 1929 Expo in Barcelona, today happily restored. This center has sufficiently favorable conditions for the holding of all kinds of events (conferences, seminars, congresses, etc.) in terms of personal and social training, as well as the organization of all kinds of cross-border activities. .
